About Mako Bets

Mako Bets is a free sports betting research site. We publish a preview for every game on the college football, college basketball and NBA schedules, matchup stats for each game, odds from US sportsbooks side by side, and player-prop research for the NFL.

The goal is simple: help you understand a game before you bet it, with numbers you can trust. A missing number is better than a wrong one, so when a stat cannot be sourced we leave it out instead of estimating it.

What we publish

Game previews: written the day before each game (earlier at the start of a season) and updated as the line moves.

Matchup stats: both teams side by side, with league ranks, from the data sources listed on each page.

Player props: NFL quarterback passing-yards lines compared with our own simulation. Edges from models that have not passed a test are labelled as untested, and each model shows its live record.

Community: picks, discussion and a leaderboard from Mako Bets members.

What we do not do

We do not take bets, sell picks or guarantee results. Sports betting carries risk; see our responsible gambling page.
